You can't dislocate/sprain your butt, however, you could break your Coccyx bone. If you do, its a really long, painful and horrible recovery. Plus, its like any other broken bone...it needs to be snapped back into place and it really really hurts because its in a really sensitive area.

It's possible to fracture, chip or crack the coxes bone which is the tail at the lowest end of the spinal column. I never heard of a butt sprain though.

LOL, sorry... You probably pulled your hamstring muscle. Use some Ibuprofen and ice. The hamstring muscle is a group of large, powerful muscles that span the back of the thigh, from the lower pelvis to the back of the shin bone. A groin pull is an injury to the muscles of the inner thigh. The groin muscles, called the "adductor muscle" group, consists of six muscles that span the distance from the inner pelvis to the inner part of the femur (thigh bone). These muscles pull the legs together, and also help with other movements of the hip joint. The adductor muscles are important to many types of athletes including sprinters, swimmers, soccer players, and football players

You can sprain your glutes. And it's possible to bruise or break your tailbone. There's nothing to dislocate as there's no joint there.

One may break their tailbone, or bruise, but I'm not sure about spraining it. Only the leg joints into the pelvis.

Actually yeah. There are the gluteal muscles (gluteus maximus, minimus, and medius) which basically make your butt and like any other muscle, you can sprain them. But much funnier to just say, "I hurt my butt."

You can definitely bruise your tailbone. Once when I was 16, my boyfriend came up behind me while I was sitting on a swing and gave me a big push. I knew the swing was broken..ok to sit gently on but NOT to swing. I landed square on my a**, and had trouble sitting down AND standing up from a sitting position for WEEKS!!
