Yesterday there was a woman who grabbed a guy bum even though he did not know her and she was not his wife or girlfriend however if it was a man who did that to a woman hed be slapped or reported for sexual harassment. Why is it a much bigger deal if this is done to a woman than a man.

As others have said, legally there is no double standard, but there does seem to be a social double standard.

I think the reason most people find a woman grabbing a man more acceptable than a guy grabbing a woman is simply that fewer men react unpleasantly when a woman grabs them, compared to the other way around. And I suspect that is because women are exasperated by how often they have to fend off verbal and physical advances, whereas it is more of a novelty for men to receive this kind of attention. I bet men would find it annoying if it happened to us more frequently.

A man can report that behavior as sexual harrassment too. The laws don't just apply to women.

i totally agree with you that there is a double standard.
if a women flirts with a guy it will never be sexual harassment but if a guy flirts with a women and she not interested in him it will be harassment
