As a black person how would you react if a white called you an n word to offend you?

Yesterday a white girl called me a n and I called her a cracker bit*ch instead of knock her upside the head because I know I would get in trouble for it since she is a woman and assault is wrong?

I wouldn't care. I'd just ignore them. Or I'd think to myself "hmm, that was random". It's just a word. And I've gotten so used to saying it myself that it wouldn't bother me if someone else said it.

I'm not black. But I do have to say.. you shouldn't take offense to it. I mean I doubt she went home and cried about being called a cracker b*itch. These days it's just another word that comes out of peoples (regardless of race) mouths. It's in most Rap songs, but that doesn't offend anyone. Even when it's a white boy (Eminem) singing it.

Forget what people say.. If you focused on every little thing it would eat you up inside. Just ignore her, it's not worth your time. She's obviously not either. :) Good call on not hitting her!

Just ignore her. She was just doing it to hurt you. She isn't even worth wasting your breath on. Unfortunately, some people are still ignorant and prejudice. It is sad. I know it hurts, but you just have to let it go. I am a white girl and I used to be with a black guy. We would get stares all the time and I was even called a n****r lover. It hurt me a lot but didn't seem to bother my boyfriend. I asked him why and he just said that people can think what they want but he is a good person and that is all that matters. Be the bigger person and just ignore anyone who says things like that. I am sorry that happened to you though. That was wrong.

There was a time when I would have straight tried to shove my foot up her a**. As I've grown older though, I've decided I wouldn't go to jail for some stupid sh*t like that. I can't say I've grown to the point where I wouldn't cuss her a** out though, but hopefully one day I'll can be all peace and love and just walk away---right now that seems like a long time away!

i think of this could be a strange question. yet evaluate this, the "N-notice" is a term that's no longer specially for black human beings.. so technically this question is racist. And to be the bigger man or woman and the fewer racist would be to in basic terms turn it right into a comedian tale and say close up and snigger.

I'm sorry that you are getting called names, I would have thought by now that people would finally learn we are all the same.
