Person,
hang in there - you likely sacked this thing. You'd be surprised how many people "lag" on the hiring process.
Keep us posted when you here the good news. Congrat's on the 3 great interviews. Take a breath and go buy yourself a book to keep your mind off of this for now.
Best of luck!

During the 1930's and early 40's the people of the world didn't want to see what was going on because they were unwilling to accept some of the refugees the situation was creating, and the US was trying to avoid war, believing that the Nazis would hold back the Russian communists. Now we see the result of the creation of a nation with post traumatic stress disorder which overreacts to provocation and creates enemies with post traumatic stress disorder. How do we even describe it, let alone temper it? You are right, though, that acknowledging that it's happening is the first step.

Not necessarily. They may have had a lot of applicants or someone could be out for some reason and they can't get to doing all they need to check on. I've had that happen.
At any rate, just be an optimist. If you don't get the job then maybe you wouldn't have been happy there.
Just keep applying for other positions - you never know what might turn up. Have you tried an employment agency? Sometimes they have jobs that aren't advertised.
Anyway, Good Luck and keep smiling.

Having been called in a third time means you have a better chance than other people you were interviewed with. You may call them to thank them for the opportunity given you to get this far in the interview, at the same time mention that you are looking forward to hearing from them in good time. Do not sound desparete. Best of luck.

Not getting an answer after a week does not necessarily mean you didn't get the job. They may just be taking awhile to decide who to hire. A family member of mine applied and interviewed for several jobs a few months ago and some people did not get back to him until weeks later. He has a job now, and one person called him in October wanting to hire him.
Good luck, I hope things work out well for you.

Honestly, it's not a good sign. I think every prospective employer should show enough courtesy to contact an applicant directly if they have interviewed in person, but it's not an industry standard.
If they haven't called you back and haven't asked for references, I doubt they are planning to hire you.
However, don't let it get you down. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Don't let it get you down - keep moving forward.

To be honest, if a place had to interview someone three times to see if they are the right person, my confidence in that place wouldn't be all that high. You may be suprised to find out how many companies lose out on hiring good employees because of their methods of hiring. Don't give up on finding a job, maybe just give up on that particular company. Something better may come along. A company that knows what they are looking for in a person can usually make a decision rather quickly, because they know that person will not wait forever just for them. Good luck.

Dont lose hope as yet. Give it one more week. If u are still bugged, you could give the HR a call and ask them about your status. By right, they should notify you even if you're rejected. No harm in calling HR to verify your status. Good luck!

Getting as far as a third interview is a very good sign. A company not having the good manners to contact you very shortly afterwards is not such a good sign.
I'd be inclined to call them.

Make a follow up phone call, if for some reason they say they went with someone else, ask why, improve upon yourself from it so next time you'll get it! =)
