When you first burned it you should have soaked it in ice water 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. Then you should have put pure aloe on it.

Now, it has gotten infected from bacteria. You might need medical attention.

First of all, clean it. Keep it clean and covered. Drain the pus out and put antibiotic salve on it. Put it in a splint so you don't bump it or use it. If you don't keep it clean you could be causing major problems for yourself.

that happened to me but since i cant see your thumb and how serious it is i would go to the doctor just incase.
I put aloe vera and burning cream on my hand and then straped an ice pack to my hand. It hurts like hell but after a few hours it should start to mellow out...im sorry this happend! I feel your pain! haha

Depends on how bad. If minor, run cold water over it until the pain goes away. If it's blistered, you should put some antibacterial cream on it. If it's charred, as you describe, see a doctor as soon as possible.

Stick that thumb in a glass of ice water NOW!! It WORKS! Sometimes it takes 1and half hours, but by the sound of yours, it'll probably take 6 hours for you to be able to take your hand out of water and have no more pain. Hurry!! :)

possibly it somewhat is from the type you carry the lighter. ascertain you're in basic terms touching the swap, and not resting your dermis against the steel wheel. additionally, twist your hand so the lighter is sideways and confirm you're sucking problematic adequate. The flame will pass in the direction of the suction.

If it's a burn from a pot on the stove, as silly as this sounds, put mustard on it. Let it dry. It will take away the burn. Give it a minute though.

Immediately after a burn put cold water on it to stop the burning.

I find that something like a light bandage and antibiotic cream is helpful.

Good luck.

For a light burn I use aloe vera juice. Yours sounds more serious. Go to your doctor.
