What do you mean by "our salvation"?
It is my understanding we should be obedient to the Lord. But what I am hearing from you perhaps is a question of discernment. As a minister or leader or teacher, the truth should always fall in alignment with God's Holy Word, the Bible.
If I may be so bold to suggest, go to God's Word. Seek truth by confirming that what you believe came from God... actually came from God.
God bless you with wisdom!!!!

Mark wrote in his gospel in the FIRST CHAPTER (does that indicate RELEVANCE?) about Jesus telling the fishermen, Simon and Andrew, to come with him and he would make a new kind of fishermen out of them. He said, "I'll show you how to catch men and women, instead of perch and bass." They didn't ask questions. They dropped their nets and followed. A dozen yards or so down the beach, he saw two brothers, James and John, sons of Zebedee, in a boat. He made the same offer. Immediately, they left their father, Zebedee, the boat, and the hired hands, and followed him.
I think the issue is not one of your REQUIREMENT, but one of your desire to obey. If you don't have that desire, perhaps that might be something to pray about, and ask God to give that desire to you.

Jesus commanded that we go forth and make disciples of all the nations. Once you are fortunate enough to know the Truth, why wouldn't you want to share it?
As far as salvation goes...God knows your heart.

Yes we are required to teach to others so they will learn and know the truth. If someone gets upset with you and you keep at it, you are making God and Jesus happier.
Just make sure you are teaching from the Bible. And not just words others have said to you that may not be correct.

well, Jesus did command us at Matthew 24:14, "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.."

Truth is not ours to keep but to pass on.
We as saved sinners need to help others to know the way of salvation, just as we were helped.
God has entrusted us to help the rebirth of others, just as He has entrusted us to reproduce and give birth physically to new generations.

It is commanded to us by Jesus to be witnesses for all who hunger for the things of God. In the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, we are to preach and teach the Truth in love, hopefully leading others to Christ.

If we follow Jesus example, who spoke to many about his kingdom, then yes we should teach others the truth about what we know. This is showing love to others.
