Colorful Flavored Lollipops

INGREDIENTS

Vegetable oil for coating molds
2 cup(s) sugar
3/4 cup(s) water
2 tablespoon(s) water, (combine with above mentioned water)
2/3 cup(s) light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon(s) food coloring
1/8 teaspoon(s) flavored oil for candy making
DIRECTIONS

1. Generously brush the insides of the lollipop molds with vegetable oil, place sticks in the molds, and set aside.
2. Make the sugar syrup: Combine sugar, water, and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan over high heat and cook until a candy thermometer reads 250 degrees F. Add the food coloring and continue to cook, without stirring, until the temperature reaches 300 degrees F. Remove from heat and stir in the flavored oil.
3. Make the lollipops: Fill the molds with the hot syrup and let cool completely. Gently remove the hardened candy from the molds, wrap in waxed paper, and store in a cool, dry place for up to 1 month.

You get popsicle or lollipop sticks. Get some type of hard candy. Place the candy on the stick. Put in the microwave for a few seconds. (They BURN quickly!)
