I like Proactiv better than Clean and Clear. Proactiv is quite expensive, but I have found that if I just use the cleanser that works quite well. It's not a miracle, but it does a better job on blackheads than anything else I've tried.

It depends on each person's skin type. I have sensitive skin and had a very bad reaction to Proactive; the rash on top of the acne (which it didn't help at all) was horrible. Clean & Clear is a lot cheaper, too. And there are other good OTC products; you just have to try them until you find one that works for you.

Ive used both. It all depends on the individuals reaction to the skin treatment. But, Proactive worked best for me....I switched back after about a month.

I think clean & clear is better. I've heard that in the long run proactive dries out your skin.

i have heard that people have had a hard time with the proactive and not being able to stop using it. That they get horrible breakouts if they stop using it and that the skin gets dependant on it.

Clean and clear is better for mild acne, and proactive works best for moderate to severe acne. Trust me, i have hardly any ance, and when i do i use clean&clear and it works great! =]

I would say visit an esthetician at a skin care salon. They have WAY better products for you to use. They may be more expensive but the skin on your face is the first thing everyone sees, so make sure you are 100% with it!

neither...better to just leave your acne alone. they will eventually go away. chemicals only make them worse.
