I did it in the 80's and it was 16 weeks of the hardest work I ever did but the social life was fantastic, I met loads of gorgeous blokes and came home poor but happy! Go for it.

It's also good grounding in old-school showbiz, if you want a step in that direction remember that people like Cliff Richard, Michael Barrymore...(er...perhaps that's not a good example)..., Des O'Connor, Sting and even Johnny Vegas were all redcoats at one time.

You get paid about ₤130 a week which is alright too

ive done it, i did two summer seasons coaching football.

it was fantastic. the pays pretty crap
but the sun sea sand sex is great
most companies pay for your food drink accom bills etc
all i can say is it wicked get involved.

I would think they would be grateful for anyone they could get. Wages are likely to be rock bottom - i.e. legal minimum wage
