Women are Meant to care for their Family, children and their needs, but yet not to be disrespected and Called a SLAVE.
Women do this out of love for their family as the man takes care of the house, home, cars.
I can and did all that too.
I come from a strong Italian background where the man was the head of the house.
Now my Brothers are fantastic cooks, Fathers (and they are all step kids too ) Hard workers (that means every day they work) and do all that a women can do .
It is the person and their beliefs, up bringing etc.... My father taught my mother how to cook !
She is now top chef in my family.
When I pass the culinary school most are all men.
There are plenty bad mothers out there...give the good men a fair shake !!!!!
Just don't take more than 50%.

What I'm wondering is why does having a job equal child neglect. If that's true, why isn't the Department of Children and Families yanking kids from their homes all across the country.
Also, it is a very broad generalization to say that women are better at cooking than men are. I, for one, am an absolutely horrible cook, and I don't see that changing just because a child comes into the picture. There are lots of men who are great cooks, and even better cooks than women. So, next time you want to waste space on YA talking about your fairy tales and trying to insult people, try to think of a better argument.

i don't wear a "man's business suit" to work. in the next office from me is a man that does ALL the cooking at his house because he wife can't cook. i don't know where in the bible God says that women are supposed to stay home with the children. i do know that God intended for woman to support ( in all ways ) her husband and if that means helping him support the family that is what i do... actually in my case... my X husband is a alcoholic and was extremely mentally abusive to me and the children... did God intend for that to happen too??? or in your world the man can do whatever he wants and the woman can only stay home and tend to the children?? i would be careful if i were you.... spouting God's intentions without first speaking with him about the validity of it may cause a traffic jam in Heaven while you explained to him WHY you made such an awful statement/question instead of spreading his GOOD word...

You're an idiot...
Some of the world best chefs are men, and some of the best business people are women (that are also god moms)
My mom works and she NEVER neglected me, she's a great woman and she do everything for me....
She's a much better mom than some of the ones that stay at home....

Then why are most of the professional chefs men? Sometimes women with a family might have to work. No shame should be put upon them. They are caring for their families as well as they can.
The matter of headship has nothing to do with women working outside the home. It was a matter of organization. Christ is head of the congregation and his head is God. The congregation is made up of families. The family must have a head at that was appointed as a man. He was not to be a tyrant but love wives as they would themselves. (Eph. 5:21-33) Just before this council, in verse 15 it warns, "keep strict watch that how you walk is not as unwise persons but as wise persons." Then it tells us how.

Wow. first if you read proverbs about a virtuous woman then you will note a woman wears many hats. And just because a woman has a job doesn't mean she's neglecting their children but she's helping to provide for her family. Proverbs 31:10-30 I will not quote all of it to you, Who can find a virtuous woman and capable wife? She is worth more than precious rubies her husband can trust her and she will greatly enrich his life she will not hinder him but help him all her life. She goes out and inspects a filed and then buys it with her earning(JOB!) She carefully watches what goes on in her house and does not have to bear the consequences of laziness. Her children stand and bless her. I will stop there, but I have met plenty of working mothers with children and a husband that works as well and there kids are awesome and there marriage is good because one person doesn't put the financial burden on the other it's about a partner ship. I advise you because a lot of women make the mistake of not working there whole lives either by choice or because their mate doesn't see fit. But nothing is promised your husband can die, or worse walk out on you. And if this happens unless your rich with money stacked up high how are you going to feed your little ones ignorance is bliss my fair lady. Knowledge is power isn't it time you regain some power in life because right now your out of control.
God Bless!

generally speaking I think men make alot better cooks then woman. look at all the great chefs -most [not all] are men.
then read Proverbs 31; sounds like this woman had some kind of job; verse16. [well all of it]
women have ambition, just like a man. no I don't think God intended for women to stay bare foot and pregant.

Don't tell Brillat Savarin, Vatel, Escoffier or any of the other great male cooks in the history of world cuisine, now, will you dear.
And as a point of fact very few professional, highly trained chefs are homosexual. TV chefs don't count--you don't honestly think TV chefs do their own cooking, do you?
And very few women wear men's suits. They're cut wrong.

They aren't better at cooking. Women have just been forced to do the cooking as even in non-religious households it is kind of expected that the woman cooks so they are forced to do it/learn as best they can. Whereas men generally never try as they are told they aren't supposed to.
I can't cook well at all even after all these years of marriage, etc. I don't like to eat either. Both are things I just do as I'm stuck with having to do them.

The only thing I smell cooking here is roasted troll.
Could it maybe just be the cultural influence that we haven't completely outgrown -- wherein little girls are still being taught to cook and little boys aren't, so they grow up to be women who can cook and men who don't know how?
Just a thought. And now, I'm off to work (but I'm wearing a skirt) -- to model for my daughter that women should get an education and use it!
My husband CAN cook dinner for himself and the poor little neglected child tonight (do you sense the sarcasm, or are you dense?).
