Does that mean God advocates incest since they likely would have been siblings? Or were there other people living in the area around the time of creation so Adam and Eve weren't the first humans?

You got it. Incest had to populate the earth at the beginning of time. If there was only 2 people and they had kids, well they would have to mate with each other since there were nobody else on the earth

Cain married his sister. Adam and Eve kept cranking out kids long after Cain left the nest. Eventually, he meets a woman. It's his sister, but he doesn't care because he didn't grow up with her. Besides, who would you report them to?
Also, how many kids can you crank out in 900 years? Even if you were only capable of reproducing for a few hundred of those years, that would still be plenty of time. Incest didn't create problems back then because the human race was genetically perfect and there wasn't enough time for bad genes to accumulate and cause mutations. It wasn't until the time of Moses, about 2,500 years later, that God said, "OK, no more incest." That's because enough time had passed and enough generations that incest caused mutations in offspring.

i think it says he went off and built a big city. wonder why he needed a city to live in? he, being all alone. this is just a old hebrew story that was put in the torah, bible and koran. life on earth has been around app.4.5 billion years. fact not fairy-tale.

You are trying to apply reason to the bible.

Try not to do this, and respect the blind, unreasonable faith of others.
