No florets are actually each a flower in a compound flower head like an aster. While petals are found in the corolla of a single flower.
Fuschias have four long, slender, sepals and four shorter, broader, petals in many species.

They have four sepals and four petals, the flower of the fuschia. Also, welcome to the botany top 10 list to the first answerer. There are around 100 species of the plant. Florets are actually clusters of individual flowers. This one is is all one flower at a time on each stem. They seem to call florets inflorescence here on this link.
