You know Malka this one is personal, real personal, my husbands mother is born is Safad, and his father, in zippori Nazareth. He was born in Lebanon, In a refugee camp with no rights at all(work, citizen, vote, own land, no human rights at all) The right of return is a dream. A damn dream given to them so that they can wake up everyday and have a dream so they can get through another day of hel*. Many people might not understand this and I don't want to hurt anyone, but my husband just about has no feeling for Palestine because he never saw it, yes he gets upset for his mother when she remembers it. But he has no need to live there. Many say the arab countries need to take care of them. They are all separate countries with their own laws. Im Canadian can i just go and live in America because its a western country? No I can't , i have to have a job offer or I will be deported back to where I came from. When a human is stateless, their only dream is to belong and fit in somewhere on this earth. Is there room in the west bank and gaza to take them all back? I don't think so, maybe its up to the world to recognize this and help them all, by giving them freedom and rights , and a land where they can have a chance to make their life.
The last thing I need to say which might upset others. Holocaust victims and now the next generation demand from Germany and Israel compensation for the hell they went through. I believe that the Palestinian refugees should also be entitled to have some sort of compensation. 60 years to live in those camps , there are no words to describe them, I lived in a camp for 3 years. Its a pure human shame , that any human can not feel for them. Win Allah?(Where is God?) Peace.

possibly "variety of authentic" yet notably deceptive. Allegedly, the PA "presented" the deal those days. This additionally skill that it replaced into an "grant" that did no longer incorporate any settlement from hamas, which rules 0.5 of the PA territory and that's against any peace. The final time the PA and Israel reported peace talks, Hamas replied by using killing 2 Israeli civilian families in 2 separate terrorist incidents. only approximately 10 years in the past: Israel presented Arafat over ninety 5% of all he asked for inclusive of sharing Jerusalem as capitals of the two Israel and the PA. Arafat rejected it. actual, Arafat did greater beneficial than reject it. Arafat walked out with out counteroffer after which the PA introduced that Jews in no way lived in Jerusalem, there replaced into in no way a Biblical Temple in Jerusalem and hence Jerusalem replaced into holy to Muslims and Christians yet no longer Jews. The implication is that on the grounds that Non-Muslims are banned from Muslim holy web content that Jews must be banned from Jerusalem, as they have been from 1948-1967. greater those days, Israel carried out a 9 or 10 month moratorium on settlement development to coach sturdy faith and start up peace talks. Then, the PA refused to barter and waited till approximately 2 weeks previously the moratorium replaced into over after which claimed "oh...we've been approximately to barter yet now we can't through fact the moratorium is up..."

There is no right of return. Throughout all of history, refugees have been created by wars and resettled wherever they landed. In India and Pakistan, it led to direct population transfer. Yet here, they feel there is a claim to return. Furthermore, if there was any claim, the simple fact that there were an equal number of Jewish refugees from the collective Arab countries who fled to Israel invalidates any claim that the Palestinian refugees may have. These Jews are not welcomed back into their former Arab countries, and even if they were it would be a hollow offer. The simple truth is that these refugees should have been resettled by now, just as the Jewish refugees have been. The true criminals here are the Arab countries who preffered to keep their refugees disadvantaged and in poverty for political and economic gain.
If the Palestinians receive a country some day, that is where these refugees should go.

They Palestinians want their own state like any other people in this life. Why should everybody have their own country except the Palestinians? They get their land occupied and then they are asked to shut up and live under the control of other nation!!

Palestinians claim about 750,000 Arabs fled in the 1948 war
the UN fed and counted Arabs who entered the UN run refugee camps stating that it was difficult to verify where the Arabs had come from.
Now this number has grown to 4.5 million and the Arab nations have refused to help them into their lands, although they share the same culture, religion, language and are of the same ethnic group.
When the UN approved for Israel to become a nation, the wrath of the Arab nations turned against it's own Jewish citizens. Most Jews fled with only the clothes on their backs. The goverment took their lands and properties...
Over 800,000 Jewish refugees fled to Israel from Muslim countries and no one complained about the injustices done to these refugees... Israel may not agree to allowing the right of return of all Palestinian refugees....

Name me one other example in history when a hostile minority was expelled during a war, and then let back in with open arms.
The Palestinians for the most part should be naturalized in the countries where they reside.
As for payment of any lost property, that is a matter that will be settled with a general Israeli-Arab peace accord.
