My cat "Red" Is 3 years old, male, neutered. Today (11/13/07) He came in and started this howling it started small then grew louder and louder he drooled a little and his body went limp he wouldn't even lift his neck during this howling phase. we pet him until he stopped and he got up, he ate and acted like it never happend. but later when he was under my bed, i tried to gently pull him out he started this howling again and went limp but didn't drool this time. I didn't notice any limping or other weirdness before this howling fit started.
Im getting worried hes not a howler hes usually quiet and hes never shown any of these weird problems before im afraid to touch him again in case hes got an internal injury or something. Can anyone help me out here? Thank you.

Why are you on here, wasting time?
Get the cat to a vet, that is what good, responsible pet owners do, if they are worried!!!!

call the vet and describe little guy's warning signs. in common, whilst uncertain, take the cat to the vet. in case you are able to call around and hit upon a experience and a puppy provider. Ask around approximately borrowing a provider... Wrap him up in a towel and make contact with a cab if needed. Even experienced vets could have hardship diagnosing devoid of an examination. the varieties of issues they'll ask are what has the cat been eating and/or uncovered to. If he ate till now and each thing looked regular an hour or so in the past, then the shivering ought to be an illustration of exposure to a pair form of toxin that's affecting little dudes worried gadget. Are his scholars equivalent length?... Do you spot the 0.33 eyelid in part drawn over the eyes? Are his eyes not clean and vibrant? those are all alerts of exposure to neuro pollutants and available foodstuff poisoning. Has little guy been outdoors?... close to automobiles?... small swimming pools of antifreeze are candy tasting to cats and that they'll drink with dire consequences. something in the abode that he could are becoming to be into?... cleansing ideas, insecticides???... Do you have a clutter field for him the place you are able to observe what situation his urine and feces are in?... Diareaha?... Cloudy or pinkish urine?... unusual odors?.... regrettably cats make undesirable sufferers and frequently you should establish a relationship with a vet that has important journey with cats. greater IMPORTANTLY, you should be as observant a detective as you are able to likely be. Your little guy's agitation and shaking are literally an illustration that something's incorrect, yet he nonetheless seems to have capacity... shifting around and so on, so the swifter YOU REACT the greater acceptable. there is an danger that there is something in the place that's frightening the cat... they do shiver whilst afraid... yet I incredibly think of you have a dude with poisonous exposure or probably a digestive tract blockage.... VERY annoying to assert WITH data presented.... SO GET LITTLE guy TO THE VET!

You need to take him to the vet's. This could be caused by a mental malfunction, just like with people. Of course, it could be something a little less scary, and he could just be smelling a female cat in heat, do you have any neighboring cats? Still, take him to the vets to get cheaked out, best way to be sure..
