Yes.
A long time ago, I use to think that was impossible...especially given all the problems of consanguinity, like we see today with those who marry relatives generation to generation.
But, actually, the genome and DNA of humans has been deteriorating and mutating slowly throughout time. Quite the opposite of "evolution" taking DNA and humans "higher", we are actually heading the other direction. Mutations are always bad things...and only in very, very, very rare circumstances do mutations provide some "benefit". But even this benefit is only in light of other "bad things". For example, there was a mutation leading to sickle cell disease. Now, in Africa, a "carrier" was more protected against malaria...so evolutionists conclude that it was a "good" mutation and sign of evolution. Of course, the horrible disease of sickle cell can't be explained by them. Furthermore, if malaria weren't around, then this "mutation" would be nothing but bad.
In any event...in Adam, we all fell...and sin brought forth death.
We live in a fallen world, with fallen flesh, and a fallen angel directing his evil cohorts....
Thanks be to Jesus Christ, who saves us from sin..."reverses" the curse...and will give us new bodies in a new world...where there will be no sin...no fallen flesh, no fallen world, no fallen angels...no tears, no pain, no sorrow...
Lord, hasten that day!

The bible as far as I know does not go on to elaborate on who else God might have created along with Adam and Eve, (but then there are many versions of the bible floating around too).
I would like to think there were others and that Adam and Eve's children did not mate together type of thing but who knows!
My mom says the bible teaches that animals talked around that time too. Now that would explain the talking serpent! LOL Maybe they all went silent after that, those trouble makers! Why else would Adam and Eve have not questioned a talking serpent????

You don't have to trace it all the way back to Adam and Eve. After the great flood we would all be descendants of Noah. Since we have a biblical account of Noah's lineage to Adam and Eve we are all descendants of Adam and Eve and also Noah. That is if you believe in that sort of thing.

No, Cain isn't listed in the book of the generations of Adam; Genesis 4:25-26 & 5:1-32. Genesis 3:20, says that Eve is the "mother of ALL living", but Adam isn't Jesus' father, and due to the record of Adam's generations, Cain must not have been Adam's son either. Some believe the fruit, of which Eve partook & gave to Adam, was intercourse. If this thought is true, Cain could have been Satan's son, and scripture can be found to suggest that even further; 1st John 3:12, "Not as Cain, who was OF that wicked one". Why need go all the way back to Cain as being OF the wicked one?
Just thoughts of mine. Good question. God bless.

The Hebrews believed all descended from Adam and Eve and the bible does suggest that.
However, it is far from the actual, literal truth as the Hebrews themselves descended from other cultures around Mesepotamia and they did not recognize Adam and Eve as their first ancestors.
The Hindu scriptures date back before the bible and does not trace their descendents to Adam and Eve. Neither do the writings of the other oldest civilizations in China and Egypt.
Creation myths vary from culture to culture. It is only religious bias that makes you believe one is absolutely true.

Yes, it does. And yes, they would. In fact, science has supported this in that Mitochondrial DNA can trace all humanity back to a single female.
Noah was a descendant of Adam. All of today's humanity is descended from his 3 sons - Shem, Ham and Japheth. Japheth had a son (among many) named Gomer, who was the ancestor of all white Europeans. Ham had a son (among many) named Cush, who was the ancestor of black Africans and other ******* peoples. Shem had a descendant named Eber, who was the father of the ancient Israelites [where we get the word "Hebrew"]. Shem was also the ancestor of the Sinites, who were the Chinese and other mongoloid peoples [where we get the prefix "Sino-"]. All peoples on Earth can be traced back to Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Not if You read it very, very carefully. They are the ancestors of the Jews and several other specifically mentioned races, most of which were later destroyed -- all of them, if You believe the Flood thing. I understand that a certain type of DNA passed along only by the mother is now being pursued in search of the original Eve -- interesting stuff.

there replaced into no Adam and Eve. Lucy, it truly is no longer achievable for a pair of human beings to offer adequate offspring to fill the earth. you're in line with each toddler born to proceed to exist to reproduce. that's plenty from the fact. we've had maximum of wars and famine interior the previous that explains why in over 2 hundred,000 years we "in basic terms" have 7 billion human beings. organic failures such through fact the Tambora volcanic eruption only approximately wiped out the human race. attempt to ascertain different issues than the bible sometime.

Well in the parable sense we are, but I don't think in a physical way we do belong to Adam and Eve in the way of God's first creation.
