I would want noodles and tomato sauce, veggies and chicken to make homemade chicken noodle soup, hot chocolate for those times when you venture outside to TRY to shovel the snow, Feves au lard because it reminds me of when I was a kid, stuck in blizzards (and it's high energy), chocolate bars (which I stash in the freezer), milk (for my coffee of course), canned soups because they're easy, and baking stuff to pass the time (brown sugar, flour, oats, chocolate chips, eggs, milk....).
I would also get my coleman camping stove (to use outside of course) and candles. I remember only once when the electricity went out.. and we used candles for lighting but the power outage didn't last long
Those are some of the main things I have had during blizzards! They can be a good time if you are prepared!
PS you don't need water because you are surrounded by snow!! freshly fallen snow!!! ;-)

I have a gas stove that doesn't require electricity,so I'd want to be set for a full schedule of baking and cooking-it would help keep the house warm and pipes from freezing too. Flour, sugar, spices, milk, butter, eggs (keeping foods cold and frozen wouldn't be a problem, now would it?) potatoes, onions, meat, canned goods. Water would be plentiful, but need to be heated on the stove.

I would have allot of canned goods. Flour and baking supplies too because it is a grand opportunity to do so. coffee, tea and other hot beverages. p.s in a blizzard there sometimes isn't electricity and the only way to cook things is with gas.

Any food that does not need to be prepared, and has a long shelf life. Though we do not get blizzards (hurricanes instead), water and canned foods (have can opener) are critical...hopefully it does not get so cold that your food and water items freeze.
Stay warm

WATER!!! tons of it. And anything non-perishable. Believe you me, I live in the middle of MN, where a blizzard, and being snowed in for a while is a very REAL possibility!
Anything canned, Lots of water! Anything that will make lots and lots of leftovers (casseroles and such) and anything that can be added to other foods

Assuming the power was still working - I'd want lots of soup and pasta... canned fruit would also be a great thing to have.
