abusing laxatives will prevent your bowels from functioning normally. so eventually you will get to the point where you will not be able to defecate with out using them. if using laxatives is part of your "weight management" plan then you need to get some serious therapy

When you use laxatives daily, your digestive tract depends on the laxatives to help push the toxics throughout your body rather than the enzymes itself.

not a good idea. it makes you poop alot and i guess you lose weight, but in the end you will have to depend on these pills/powder everytime you want to use the bathroom.

A better question is why would you want to use them long term? Why put anything into your body long term that is changes the way any bodily system works? If you feel like you need these, maybe you should go to the doctor...................

Long term use of them will cause your body to forget how to function without them. Straight up that's the main problem.
