We cheat on guys, sure, but not as much as the cheat on us.
It's one of the big problems with guys, and one that we just have to cope with.
Like when they're so nice to us alone, and then as soon as their friends show up...BAM! Jerk on board.
Men in general are fickle things. In order to show dominance and power, they go to all lengths. A lot of it is peer pressure, and some of it is just pure lust. You see guys on TV or in nightclubs with their arms around several women. Most men see that as 'cool' and they want that. It just doesn't turn out that great for us.
So don't think it's every man that's like it. Some are actually decent people. Just the ones who think themselves all that are usually the ones that will do it first.
Just watch your back girls =]

Someone above was right. The question is why do PEOPLE cheat instead of break up with the person.
There's a couple reasons. One, sometimes we cheat but still love the person we are with. We sometimes make mistakes in the heat of the moment. We feel angry or insecure about ourselves and lash out incorrectly.
The other thing is that we are scared to be alone. What if is doesn't work out with this other person?? Then we can always go back to the reliable relationship. This is poor thinking....but it happens.
Either way.....cheating is never the answer....but those are the excuses you'll find to be 95% true.

I've heard this not only from friends, ex's, but my own brother as well.
Cheating is impulsive, sometimes he does the chase and flirt, sometimes, the other girl does. Either way, they both make the choice to go forward with the cheating. In the heat of the moment, it feels good, the girlfriend/wife and her hurt, pain, never come into play.
In that moment, they are not thinking about all the consequences, in their mind, as twisted as this is, wants to "taste the forbidden fruit" but still have that lady at home who still loves him, still takes care of him, etc.
Not unlike that first blush of a drug high or first buzz of being drunk, this too, is hard to walk away from and they never intended to break up with their partners. Selfish? Oh yes! Simple? Never.

Studies have shown that whether it be a guy or girl, the more sex partners a person has had before a marriage or serious relationship, the more likely they are to cheat. People are also more likely to cheat if they do not trust their partner not to cheat on them. FYI, surveys have also shown that women cheat more than men.

Because some guys want their cake and they want to eat it, too. The only thing on their small minds is sex, and having two partners means twice the sex. (Even a small mind can figure that one out.) These guys feel that getting twice as much sex justifies the cheating.
They also don't give any thought to the feelings of the women involved. That would be far too much for their little minds to deal with. So they just concentrate on making their thingie happy.
Filling their small minds with sex also explains why they don't listen. They can't... there's no room in there to listen.
Hope this helps!

The more correct question would be "why do people cheat on their partners?"
Girls do it too. It isn't a result of gender, it's a result of the individual.
Cheating happens for many reasons. The person may not love their partner anymore, they might not be getting their needs satisfied, or they might just be generally bad people.

Its no differnet than when girls cheat on guys (Happened to me)
Part of it is insecurity. Part of it is selfishness, and not caring about the other person. Part is just being mean.
The liberating part is that I know they are a cheater and I move on from them and don't care about them anymore. That's what I would hope you could do also.

This goes both ways. It isn't just guys that cheat. Girls do it too. So why do girls do it? Why don't they break up with the person?
Girls do it because they can...guys do it because of power and maybe attention that they don't get with their girl. I have heard this.

i'm no longer a guy, yet i comprehend approximately love, it does not exchange in line with gender. What would you do in case you enjoyed somebody, nicely a guy ought to act the comparable way. do no longer confuse being in love with love the two, many adult men are in love, yet no longer probably love. Love isn't in basic terms the allure, romance thoughts you have in the direction of somebody, you coach it with data, do not forget it. If he somewhat cares approximately you, respects you, would do something to thrill you and make you satisfied, and would in no way do something to break you or reason you discomfort. In different words, selfless giving of all his coronary heart to you,, that's love. a guy can be in love with somebody and cheat through fact he does not no longer comprehend actual love, yet lustful thoughts is all he's familiar with. It truly relies upon on the middle of the guy, that's what differences issues, thoughts of love are experienced by using all and sundry. desire this helps.

We as men have to find the right words to say because we don't want to end up missing or on a milk carton. lol No but seriously we want to try and ease the pain.
