As I remember, these had to be changed out from underneath the skid plate at the front. Lift truck and remove plate and simply replace as there are only three or four bolts to remove. Most of these had a water intrusion problem so make sure to route the fresh air hose up close to the top of the truck.

Replacing the secondary air pump would be shown in detail in a Haynes or Chilton manual.
