wow to the woman talking about "pure races" sorry but i find that a complete joke of a thought. Most all are mixed in the USA anyway, I myself am mixed Canadian-Irish-Native American Indian. Caucaisan is just the nice name of mixed pale skinned people.
"-White people-"
I dont mind gettin into mixed cultures, and you think we wont know who we are? I know who I am and about most all my cultures, but in all I am me, not my culture.

I dont at all. I am Irish, Polish and native american and my husband is white also, but My stepson is half black and half white. If you ask him if he is black or white or puertorican (which alot of people think he is) he will tell you (after asking "why do you care?") that he is neither...he is Brown. Shannam(or whatever your name is) You are just as ignorant as the others, just in a "classier" way. I think it is sad. The only people who look down on anyone because of their race, religion and class are useless ignorant hypocrites who need to take a look in the mirror and figure out why they hate THEMSELVES so much that they have to judge others on things that are beyond the individuals control. These people are probably living with or are them themselves inbred or half sheep, so they sure as hell have NO room to flap their gums about the issue. PEOPLE are PEOPLE, so live and fukkin let live! Besides biracial babies are adorable and have beautiful skin tone. Maybe they are jealous. I wish I had pretty tan skin year round!

I do not, but I cannot speak for others. I know I keep being shocked at how many racist people there are. I hate it I get to liking someone as a friend, neighbor what ever then they open their mouth and make some racist remark or joke to me. Like since I look like them I must think like them. It's just sick!

Pure races?! Are you for real?! Research your own heritage you'll soon find out just how pure you are!

People do still do it, but not the ones worth knowing. My son is half caucasian and half hispanic, so obviously I don't have issues with it. He doesn't either, although he occasionally gets profiled by cops when he's driving. (He looks hispanic, which is normal because darker traits tend to dominate fairer traits.) Anyway, he know's the cops pull him over because of his looks and not because he's done anything wrong, and he's polite and respectful and has never had a ticket. (His blond, blue eyed, totally caucasian wife has gotten three this year though, lol. She's a bit of a speeder.)

I see a little of that in my grandparents still. They come from a differrent time. I've tried to explain that times have changed, but what can you do, you know?

Other than that, I don't associate with people like that, and I can't think of any of my daughter's friends (or her, for that matter), who have ever even acknowledged that one of their friends being biracial. In our house, people are just people.

I personally don't...but I know a lot of people who do, and these are people who consider themselves good Christians, people you would least expect to act that way. I think it's funny, because soon there will be more bi-racial people than not...then the idiots will be the ones in the minority

I do, but it is not because I have a problem with any one race, I have a problem mixing races. I think what it comes down to (and this scares me) eventually is that we will only have one race-mulatto. That fact bothers me, and it should bother anyone who has a sense of cultural pride. Each culture is unique and special for the traits and history that it is built on, if we lose our heritage then who are we? I would hate to have to explain to my son or daughter that you are half african american and half caucasion, so a few hundred years ago your moms' ancestors enslaved your dads' ancestors and we are just going to forget about that small part of history (sarcasm) now so that we can screw your heritage up and not be able to teach you who you really are and where you really come from. This may sound racist but I am proud to be a white female living in the USA. And anyone who lives here, white, black, asian, hispanic should all be proud of who you are and where you came from, it doesn't break down to races, it breaks down to cultural differences.

If we keep the races pure then everyone will know who they are, where they come from and they can stand tall and proud knowing who they are. Is a white mother going to be able to instill Hispanic culture in her daughter? The same goes for a Japanese father instilling American culture, it just doesn't work right, so the child suffers, and never learns how to relate to his her own race(s). It is becoming more acceptable and biracial chilldren are not as discriminated against, but it is still a struggle for them. So again I am not racist, but I believe in keeping each culture and heritage seperate and flourishing, and giving our children something to be proud of.

I love how you come on here asking for someone's opinion and decide that since you don't agree with it that it is ok to put it down. Opinions are like as$holes, everyone has got one, if you don't like my honest opinion, too bad I am not here for you to like. And I do not "look down" on biracial people, I just have my views and it is fine if you don't see things the same way.

I don't understand why anyone would look down on them. They're kids, they're human beings, just like everyone else. Color doesn't matter.

Racists have problems, it's really sad that they exist.
