And now i have to wear a weird invisible brace retainer thing. My ortho said i peobably wouldn't have to wear them too long, only a couple of months, but some other people said I'll have them almost forever!! Can anyone clarify anything?? (The retainer is not a wire retainer)

THE REASON YOU WEAR THE RETAINER IN THE FIRST PLACE IS SO THAT THE BONE IN YOUR JAW HAS A CHANCE TO STABILIZE AND BECOME STRONGER.
DEPENDING ON HOW YOUR CASE BEGAN WILL DEPEND ON HOW LONG YOU WEAR THE RETAINER.
