Try fresh or frozen veggies, vegetables from the can taste terrible and have a lot of preservatives, plus the nutrients are sucked out by the canning process... Most kids like broccoli, baby carrots green beans and of course corn... someone suggested ranch dip that is good...just dont make the poor thing eat cauliflower ugh

Hide them! You can puree vegetables and place them in many recipes where they cannot even be tasted. Carrots in spaghetti is a good example. In fact, there's a few books out all about how to hide veggies in all sorts of foods! Two books to check out... "Sneaky Chef" by Missy Chase LePine and also recently featured on the Oprah show, "Deceptively Delicious" by Jessica Seinfeld.

You also might try the new fusion juices by V8 that mixes both fruit and vegetables in the juice... and Harvest Surprise made by Juicy Juice. Best of luck!

Its interesting that different cultures have a wide variety of different foods and cuisines many of which other folks in other parts of the world would not like to eat. It is because we will eat what we are given to eat everyday. I suggest you only make the problem foods that you believe would be good for your 2 year old available. he/she will eat it. it may take a little bit of hunger (maybe even a tear or 2) to make the switch but in the long run it will be worth it

Mu mum always used to lightly bol our veg, putting no salt or pepper onto them, and to get us to enjoy there natural flavours. You could mash them to make it more fun? Or try out lots of different vegetables, there are so many to choose from. Failing all of this, i would tell you child that it will help her grow, and if shes doesnt have her good foods, shes cant have the sweeties.

we hide veggies in food. for example we add 2 table spoons mashed up carrots to mashed potatoes. and we tell my nephew who is also 2 that they are pumkin potatoes. he eats them every time. you can do this with peas and beans.

take Celery and put cream cheese or Peanut butter on it most kids like it.

Puree them and bake into cookies or mix with other foods. Use pureed veggies in sauces and gravies. It's easy and they won't even suspect.

if she won't eat them, grind them up and put them in everything .. pizza sauce, bread, muffins, pasta.. pretyt much anything with sauce or something your baking.. She'll never know :)
My son went through this when he was 1 1/2 -2 years old... I'd sometimes mix a jar of baby food veggies in with his pasta sauce or pizza sauce, he'd never know.
