i need to transfer my brother music and comic tapes of billy wangle to cd to make shure i never loose the with tapes busting etc .

The basics, play Td through sound card, you can record using winamp, if it lets you save as MP3 then you are done, if not save as WAV (google for WAV to MP3 converters (download.com) then you have a permanent copy on your pc, conversion to MP3 is not essential but practical wav files are huge compared to MP3, using nero or equivelent you can then burn to cd (or dependant on size DVD. if you have a few tapes to do and are looking for better more professional software, I would suggest going to www.piratebay.org follow screen for how do I download get azureus, and search for needed software (+films, music, etc)
Caution torrents are addictive and you may lose a large part of you life............

plug you TD into the sound card port for microphone..
then use audacity to record it, and burn it to CD or whatver you want..
