my dog recently had his vaccination, days later i saw that the same spot was bald and the skin was flaky. i appears to be inflamed and the spot where the needle was inserted seemed to be yellowish. i can't go to the vet as of the moment because i'm a student and can't not go to class. do you guys have any idea what is it? is it infected? is it possible that my dog's hypersensitive to the vaccine?

It's a local reaction to the vaccine, either from a non-sterile injection or a sensitivity to the vaccine itself. What you're seeing is an abscess, or blooming infection contained under the skin.
Find a way to get your dog to the vet for treatment, because it is extremely painful and will require lancing, thorough cleaning and antibiotics.
If this is impossible, prepare for it to get much worse, more painful, and your dog may even become ill if the infection grows too severe. If you are interested in treating it yourself, do the following:
With warm water, dilute a solution of organic iodine or chlorhexidine gluconate, and use a syringe to flush the wound thoroughly, careful not to miss any open pockets under the skin. This you must do whilst keeping the dog still and calm so you can do a good job.
Keep the wound open with a warm damp cloth for a few days so that it does not scab over, the seepage needs to drain out of the body. If the wound closes too early, the seepage will collect under the skin and become an abscess. Repeat the flushing with the antiseptic solution daily for about 3 days, since you have no antibiotics to give, to keep infection at bay.
If you can do all this at home and your dog's wound heals with no complications, then congratulations, you've accomplished what your vet would have done.
If not and the wound abscesses again, or the dog bites the crap out of you because you don't have access to anesthetics, perhaps you should reconsider attempting medical treatments at home.

Sound like it could be a reaction or an infection. Your best bet is to call teh vet's office back and tell them what's going on. If it is an allergic reaction to the vaccine they can be one of teh worst allgeric reactions and seek medical care immediately. IF you gotta go to class I suggest getting a friend or room mate to watch over your dog just to make sure nothing else happens.

It possibly is hypersensitive to the vaccine but the reaction would be more overall than just at the location of the injection. it's possible the site is infected. Clean with hydrogen peroxide and apply an antibiotic ointment.

Sound's to me if the skin is starting to flake it could be a small case of mange.I'm not for sure.but after i got my dog vaccinated she has had a bad case of dirrahea.I went back to the vet and got it checked out.I'm pretty sure you should do the same.It could be a reaction to the shot. But the way it sound's she/he might have a tiny case of mange.Check into that!

It sounds like he had a reaction to the shot. I don't know how old your dog is, but once they hit a certain age, the only shot they really need is rabie shot. Unless he getting the shots for a illness.

it is badly infect and may even be an allergy to the medicine.you must find a vet but since you cant afford you should either take out a loan or get medical advice from your doctor if you able to contact them for free. treat it how you would treat an infected wound of your own
