No, it's not wrong. It's the 22 year old that's wrong. Maybe she thinks you're replacing her mother. Tell her that will never be your goal. You just want to make your father & yourself happy. And anyone that he loves is important to you as well.

She's 22. In some ways, she's still experiencing the world and figuring out the meaning. She'll understand better as time goes on.

My sister married a man 20 years older than her. They have been together 20 years. They made the choice and it is their life to live. If you are happy, the daughter will have to get use to it.

I think it may be normal for her to disapprove. But she is an adult now and needs to carry on with her own life. Her dad has the right to live his own life too and he can choose whoever he wants to be with. I'm pretty sure 'Dear Abby' would agree.

forget about them they should not be at home no more don't try to make their spoilt asses happy and don't kiss their buts either he is yours now and they need to get over they are not 10. You have to show them their Dad responds to you and that you two are in love and they can not ruin it.

Its hard for us to see our daddies with someone who could be one of our friends. But with that said, as long as your happy and he is happy with you dont let someone else control your happines. She could also be jealous and feel that you are taking him away. Try talking to her. She will eventually come around

Can't really blame her, who would want a stepmother that's still young enough to go clubbing with her?
Point is though, it's not up to her, so she'll just have to deal with it.
