In a non sexual manner, no not really. I'm English and live in France and it took me a while to get used to the bise (the kiss on either side of the cheek) and I felt really odd the first time a guy did it to me (I'm a guy too), but after a while I got used to it, and now I don't bat an eyelid. The amounts of physical contact you tolerate are dependant on both you as an individual and your society. Germanic societies such as the US and the UK often accept very little amounts of physical contact apart from in the most intimate relationships, but Romance societies often permit much more contact. If you have a real aversion to physical contact, it could be a sign of underlying issues, such as Asperger's Syndrome, of course depending on other criteria.

when people touch me eh? well first of all it depends on who it is, where and when. if its a friend then generally speaking no, if is a stranger then yes unless its a handshake or something formal......it really depends also on where.....i mean boyfriends have many more priveledges than say the random guy waiting at the bus stop......the time is also of importance...say if ur ticked off then u probably dont want to be cuddled by too many people......so really it all depends on the circumstance.

It depends on the person and the type of touch. For example, I don't particularly care for a drunken man in a bar touching me, especially if I don't know him. However, if someone lightly touches my arm or back in a crowded area to let me know they're trying to sneak by, I don't mind.

Depends on the person touching me. If i like you, then no i don't mind. If your someone that i don't care too much for (like some co-workers) then, yes it bothers the heck out of me.

Depends on the situation and what they are touching. :-)

A assume you mean a social situation

I know elderly people sometimes like to hold you hard or arm when they are talking to you and I think that is ok.

If someone touches me to get my attention that is OK too, but if they keep touching me after I acknowleded them then it get wierd.

Usually I quite like it, but it depends on the person. My desire to touch a person and be touched increases with my feelings of emotional intimacy with the person.

Yes, yes, yes. If it's my son or my fiance, I don't mind. But when friends or strangers touch me, I don't like it. I feel like my space is my space and should not be invaded. I especially hate the people who feel like they have to touch you while they talk to you. I actually flinch when someone touches me, like I've been burnt. I can't help it.

I depends on the person. But overall, I do not liked to be touched.

It depends on who they are & how they touch me. If it is someone I know & they put their hand on my arm when we are talking, it doesn't phase me.

But if one more stranger touches my belly & asks when I am due (I am 41 weeks pregnant) I am going to be arrested for homicide! Keep your hands off of people you don't know!

Yes. I've never been a touchy-feely sort. My personal space is my own--though I am always squeezing and smooching my babies. I like holding hands with my husband too. Other than that, stay away!!
