People are who they are and "wearing the pants" sounds very chauvinistic to me. Marriage is suppose to be a partnership full of compromises. Nagging is just nagging. Both men and women do it.

I'm not a nag. I just know better...kidding.:-)
And actually I'd say it shifted both ways. Men don't want women to wear the pants but women don't want those who just want them to be a docile pretty little thing.

Men don't want to get married because there is no commitment if they aren't. They can walk at any time and not hear the words of the judge saying "half". It isn't only men, women are like this too.

I wouldn't say that is the whole story. Now a days woman have become more independent while men are still the same. Men don't want to get married because they are intimated by successful woman.

Believe me it has nothing to do with women wearing the pants,it has something to do with this silly quotation,"why buy a cow, when you get a free milk. I don't know what is more expensive buy a cow or pay support to all 6 first born.

Marriage is no longer inevitable for people. You can live with someone, not get along and move out, move in with someone else, move out.

Why bother committing to one person when so many are willing to let you "try them out" for no obligation.
