I am pregnant and have a full time job. I want to stay at home with my child after it's born. What are good ways to make a pretty steady income by staying at home. Telemarketing? I don't want to do surveys and make 30 bucks here and there. Please tell me about your personal experiences.

easy you order products from a virtual mall they have everything and also if you recruit new ppl to work in the bussiness you get Bonusses and also every product you sell you get a commission =) works for me

I had a friend who would shop around at thrift stores and garage sales and would sell the items on ebay. If you learn what is valuable, and what people would buy, you can make a lot of money.
I would babysit other children, and that way I could still be with my child, and make some money at the same time.
I also sold Pampered Chef (kitchen products) but unless you enjoy sales, recruiting, etc. these jobs like creative memories and party lite can be difficult. You also have to have a sitter when you are showing the products.

If your daughter is 2 you could find a part time job that you can do one day a week on a day when your partner is off from work... it not only will help with the finances but will help with your social life and you will appreciate home alot more (not that you dont already) or you could taking children to school nearby... or set up a childminding service... or maybe look for a work from home job (although they are hard to come by)

Try selling Avon or Tupperware. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I swear it's the only legitimate business a stay-at-home mom can expect to make money off of. Those online scams never work.

My mom is a RN but started selling Mary Kay about a year ago. She plans on retiring and wanted something to keep her busy afterward. She loves it! It's a great product so it sells itself.

it all depends..selling stuff on ebay does work for awhile..but u have to find the ti me to list things and take pix..which can work while lil one is sleeping..I am currently going to school for medical transcrip..taking classes online..u can work from home or even start ur own business..totaly legit..u can work an hour a day or whenever u want..

Babysitting another child, that way your child has a playmate and you're making money for something that you're already doing.
