I mean, you're the one's who are saved, and I don't honestly think (judging from your hateful responses) that you're sad because we'll burn in hell....

Why don't you just ignore our god-bashing questions?

The real picture is that most of you Holier-Than-Thou Christians (like Lion of Judah or Catholic Crusader, not to mention the countless misspelling teens who show their "Christian love") post answers that border on hatred...

Why would any Christian hate a non-Christian's answers? Just keep praying to your god and let us all heathens burn...heck, why would a Christian picket or even vandalize an abortion clinic? Don't you trust your god will come down and help out a bit?

Christians are the ones who post the most rancorous and hatred-filled answers here, and the ones who report the most, statistics talk.....

Because you're evil, we hate what God hates, which is Logic, Reason and Accountability

If religion helps a person or makes them a better person, then its well served. If it gives then guidance and strength or hope when there seems none, then it is well served. If it provides comfort and companionship to someone who has no one else.. then it is well served. If i allows us to die peacefully, or to let someone go to a "better place" and provides us comfort... then it is well served. If all these benefits can be had by ones mind and it doesn't hurt any other individual... in fact it may make them a better person towards others and you... Why would we and should we shun this? If the old testament is nothing more than stories of moral, if the 10 commandments are applied to our laws and the way of living. then all of us would be better off. Do i think there's a heaven. It would be nice. Is it likely to happen and abide by earthly laws? no. Do i think there is a st. peter with a big book writing down if we are naughty or nice? No. Maybe our brains are like a battery and it just dies, the dying cells produce chemical reaction of euphoria and peace. Who the hell knows whats after death. But i do believe in something, I believe in a higher power, not the magic and fairytale version either. I believe in other life on other planets, I believe in the caveman and carbon dating. I believe Jesus lived, I believe was a great teacher on how we should live, how we should treat each other. To make my life better here on earth i have to believe because its too sad of a life to think this is all there is. Cheers!

You are absolutely right. Statistics DO talk. However, I have seen equal hatred from both groups. You ask a hateful question, you will get a hateful answer. And bashing God is just like bashing Christians, so what do you expect from them? And Christians, answering such questions with disdain and anger will only make it worse. Stick to the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it".

As a Christian, that question really makes me sad. Christians should not be set apart by bad behavior.

1 Peter 3:15-16
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

Many Christians really want to help, but don't know how. They, in the way of the world today, start trying to force Christianity on others. Its like trying to force a little kid to like his vegetables when he is determined not to. But one thing Christians are NOT supposed to do is ignore the unsaved. Jesus gave us the Great Commission.... And that is to spread the Good News to all the world.

I truly am sorry you have such a bad opinion of Christians.

In particular regard to your question, I'm not fond of the generalizations that all Christians are like that. Unfortunately too many claiming to be Christians do look just like what you described, especially in the US.

But a young Christian is not really very different than anyone else. Even the Bible talks about people being infants in their faith and needing spiritual milk. So I accept that some really may be true disciples of Christ and still have many, many flaws in their lives. Yet the idea is that in spiritual maturity we really begin to look more like Christ and walk in love. Most of these people I'm sure don't realize how hypocritical they're being, so thank you for calling it out. Unfortunately, unlike human infants, we don't grow spiritually just because time passes. Some people are "Christians" for much of their lives and never get out of their spiritual diapers. For their rantings I apologize. Nobody's perfect.

So where are these statistics?

I agree that there are Christians who spew hatred and report. But I know that there are many non-Christians who do the same thing.

I apologize that you have came face to face with such hatred by ones who call themselves "Christians."

This is one of the major reasons I spend time on here to counter those who are acting disrespectful and out of hatred.

To use questions to make a statement is an abuse of the service and forces us to have to sift through a pile of trash to find the few and far between questions asked by people who actually want information.

The "statements" are not threatening at all. Just very annoying, even if one is not Christian.

I didn't post anything hateful. I know the point your trying to make. So instead of focusing on the 'hateful' answers try focusing on mine. And by the way, when I posted questions challenging the logic of atheism. WOW. Some very hateful answers from the atheist. Although, the only difference is, I didn't cry about it. Nice avatar.

Because the atheists here feed these questions and responses designed to directly offend all the faithful and we are just as much human as anyone else, don't forget that.

I've also noticed plenty of times that atheists get all sentimental too when attacks are made on them. Who would've thought that humans act the same way under given circumstances, eh?

I'm not Christian nor Holier-than-thou in any religion, but my question is why do Atheists get so angry towards Christians? Why do you care? If you know you are right, why does it matter what Christians think? Why sit here and tell them they are stupid? Does it make you feel better?

And then, get upset that they can't just accept your questions. They are taught to defend their religion when it is under attack.

That speech was awesome, you go on and on telling us (Christians) to stop bashing, while the entire time you are bashing us...very left of you...pointing us out as the wrong doers and pretending to be the victim...OK lets cut to the chase...I am on here for the same reason you are...to win souls...I want everyone to go to heaven, and you want everyone to go to hell...let the games begin...
