I have this boyfriend and we've been dating for over 3 years and I really love him but sports are a big part of my life and I love watching football, basketball, whatever it is, and my boyfriend hates watching sports. I know it sounds stupid but sports are a big part of my life...... what do I do?

You'll be happier in the long run if you find someone that really enjoys sports as well. I tried for years to stay with someone that did not share my passions and it just made me and him miserable. You can't make him change to like what you do - all you can do is find someone that already likes the same things. Sports take up a LOT of time (I'm a NASCAR fan so I understand the time) and not being able to share that time with someone you care about eats away at a relationship.

You compromise. My boyfriend is really into football, and I find it to be one of the most boring sports in existence. So while he watches football, I play games on the computer. We don't need to spend every moment together or enjoy exactly the same things; it's our differences that help us realize our strengths.
If you've been with him for three years, you've likely known about his dislike of sports this whole time. And if it's a huge deal that you're seeking advice of what to do, you need to come up with a plan, or find someone who has this interest in common with you.

well, i envy him as my girl hates sports. just keep on watching your sports. if he really doesn't like sports he can give you a body massage or oral sex while you watch...
