Like Miss America on the runway when they hand her a scepter and a bouquet of roses.

It is different for every person. There are no hard or fast rules that say how someone will look or act or even what gifts they will receive from the Holy Spirit. For many that I have talked to about when they received the Holy Spirit, they felt a great deal of warmth fill them, felt weak in the knees, a great force upon their body, an inner peace and calm fill them, release of sorrows, unknown release of tears, intense heat or sweating, some felt cold.

It is completely different for everyone. In a nutshell. Complete joy!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing like it. Some people laugh, some cry, etc. But it is joy unspeakable to be filled w/ God's glory. However, I have seen many a person just sit and act/look as if they were just having a regular conversation w/ God. The only difference was it was in the language of something other than english(our native tongue). It's a beautiful experience. I urge everyone to seek the Holy Ghost who doesn't have it whose reading this, immediately.

According to a Scripture in the Gospel of John, it talks about a tree being known by it's fruit. Well the same thing applies here. They bear (which is the result of something that is growing within) Fruit that is representative of the attributes of Christ. See Galatians 5:16-26.
God Bless and may you bear much Fruit of The Holy Spirit!

That person will be speaking in tongues, oblivious to what others think about him.
Oblivious in the sense that he will be so full of the joy of the Lord that he is not bothered by what others think or say about him.
Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Read Acts 1+ 2 for more info.

It is different for everyone. When they are touched, some of them just pass out, which is why there are some ushers that follow whoever is praying to catch the falling people. Some cry, they are so happy and excited. Some start speaking in tongues. Some start dancing around.
It is different for everyone. But the most important thing is how genuine they are about asking for it and recieving it.

It is not by their earthly appearance that one can tell. but it is how the act. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control."
It is by these things on whether someone has received the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This is how you can tell, are these qualities being shown by an individual; but before you judge remember we all fall short and sometimes don't act as we should and shouldn't judge others but only our selves.

When one is filled with the Holy Ghost or as many refer to the Holy Spirit, they are filled with God's intent for them. You become aware of more in this life than self. The Holy Spirit is a melding of Gods mind with your heart, what is evil will no longer entice you, what is your former life no longer calls to you when filled with the Holy Ghost. You will be comforted when He is in you, you will be filled with joy and happiness, and you will have a heart that burns for Jesus, your Savior, and for God, your Holy Father in Heaven. What they look like? Hmmmmmmmmm, I've seen tears, I've seen pure unadulterated joy, peaceful continents, speaking in tongues, happiness, unlined faces, dancing and peaceful surrender.

In a manner that you won't forget. Everyone is different.
I experience a burning sensation throughout my body. Babbling out incomprehensible words out of my mouth; make no sense what so ever but it just feel good. It's like being an a high without the hangover or side effects the next day.

Can't go by that.
If your Talking about getting Filled after your Saved, Can't go by Feelings.
This is a Problem that needs to be Taught Out.
Some Children of GOD don't Really UnderStand that you have to Learn How to OPERATE in the Spiritual Realm AFTER you get Filled with The Holy Spirit.
There are Children of GOD walking around Today, that have Already Been Filled, they don't Realize it, BUT they Don't Know How to Operate in it!!!
Really!!!
Hope this Helps.

Except for a change in their countenance they may not look much different. But their actions could be drastically different depending on how much they change. Someone raised in a church envirinment may not change much because they have been taught well. But someone who has been oppressed in their Spirit might lose all desire to be involved in crime or substance abuse or swearing or sexual sin. As they lose their carnal thinking they may be prone to shouting, running, crying from an overabundance of joy. Another frequent manifestation is the gift of tongues(1 Corinthians chapter 12) which allows them to bypass their carnal thinking and pray directly to God from their Spirit.
