What I'm trying to do is to get a higher vertical jump. It's high already - I'm 5'8 and I can almost grab a basketball hoop - but I'd like to be even more. Will this help in any way? Also, is this safe?

Stronger thighs, stronger calves, stronger abs. doing lunges while you wear them can help balance out the leg muscles.

Be careful. They can damage the knees.

chances are it will be ok, but it can hurt you. odds are you will be able to grab that thing no problem when its done

They can cause your knees to hyperextend
