what's a good name for a dog?

i'm getting a black labrador retriever for christmas. i want to give him a great name. i'm hoping it's a boy.

The dog will choose his own name. Make sure that you pay attention to all of his actions and what he likes to do. I breed Labradors and I always let my puppies choose their own names. For example I have a male Chocolate Lab and when I got him he was 8 weeks old. It took me 3 days to name him. I got him a large kennel, one of the airline ones made of plastic, and I piled it with treats and toys. It must have been at least 40lbs. He got his toy stuck behind it and he wanted it back. He stuck his nose under the edge and upturned the whole thing. Needless to say I named him Hercules.
