Would My 80GB NTSC PS3 Work In India (PAL Country) and would PAL PS3 Games PLAY on it?

I own NTSC PS3 in Europe - no problems with PAL games. PS3 games are region free. All you'll need is a bulky power converter (220V->110V, 50Hz->60Hz, 500W).
However, you won't be able to play PAL PS1/2 games and movies.

If i'm not mistaken, the PS3 can play games from all region.

India a PAL country? I thought the European countries uses PAL.

If you have a NTSC PS3 then you'll need NTSC compatible games, not PAL games, believe me when I say I've tried that the other way around.
