I dont wanna look deparate so i stopped greeting him on messanger. He greeted for a while, then i greeted for a while as well but he never greets now and i dont wanna greet in case i look desparate. We haven't spoken in ages should i break the ice this time and see if he greets the next time? But then again i greeted the last few times. What if he doesnt greet the next time, id be so sad!
i dont wanna give a bad impression of myself to him but want sumting to heppen esp cos its long distance.

Do it. What do you have to lose. It may hurt, but not near as bad as not knowing what could have happened. Take the initiative and greet him. Live your life with no regrets and wondering what might have happened. GOOD LUCK!!

are you in a relation? if so does it matter who does the greeting? if he hasn't greeted you then you must bring the subject up especially seeing as it bothers you. relations should not be a competition nor who gives in first. it should automatically have been set already. you must ask and prepare yourself for answers that you do not wsh to hear.

well if it has been AGES I would bet that he has moved on and found someone else. sorry but like I tell my wife "buy it when you see it cause you know the next time you go to the store it will be GONE."

Don't over analize things. Be cool, try "hey! how've you been? we havent talked forever!!" or "hey stranger! what you been up to?" etc. There might be a reason, and there might not be. Good luck!
