Yes I seen some orange lights in the sky. ^^ I saw a orange light shoot up from the gorund about 40 miles away with comet like tracers behind it. It hovered or flew around for 2 hours. Occasionaly another orange dot would appear next to it then disapear. Iv seen this before, in that same spot. But I never seen one of those orange lights shoot up from the ground like that. Iv never seen orange lights in the sky anywhere else or maybe i just dont pay attention.

My friend I was with said he thinks it was a flare, but hes the scared type lol. A flare cant stay up that long. And there isnt a military base within a 100 miles. Just wanted to add that.

Ill add the distance is a guess. If it was closer I would have drove over there. They were only orange. Like i said iv seen them before from that spot in the same direction. Iv seen up to 6 at time in the skies over there. They look to be 40 miles from my direction. My location is USA arizona, Toltec. area code 85231, my city might be under eloy. Its at the houser road area off the overpass is where i always see them when I go out drinking with a few friends in the desert in that area. It has paved roads, because it was supposed to be a housing devolopment like 50 yrs ago or so. And only the roads were built. So its a great spot to hang out in the desert. from that posistion the lights seem to be 15-20 miles past casa grande mountain.

NO. Position lights are Red (left), Green (right), and White (tail) by International agreement. There are also anti-collision strobes top and bottom of the aircraft.

It would be interesting to know WHERE you are and where the lights are coming from... this might explain things.

JUST curious... 40 miles is an INCREDIBLE distance to see something from...

Planes do not have orange lights. They are red and green wingtip lights, An anti-collision light strobes mounted on top or below the fuselage, or some times in the wingtips, and white landing lights.

No, aircraft do not have orange lights. I'd say you saw an UFO.
