Its not the amount you spend on people its the thought that counts. I'm sure your family will love it.. happy holidays

I have some really good ideas. Since you already got your dad a shirt, buy your mom a little something too. ( like you said bath stuff or something) Then on top of that, you should help your four year old sister, and the little ones make something special for mommy and daddy. If you keep it a secret, I'm sure it will make your parent's hearts melt!

Here's some ideas:
Have your four year old sister help you make christmas sugar cookies or gingerbread cookies of your whole family one day while your parents are out. Take pictures of her and you together making the cookies, and put one in a christmas picture frame. : )
For the two little ones, have them finger paint plastic ornamints. Like before, take pictures and put one in a frame ( you can buy plastic ones at target for about a dollar) Then, after the bulbs dry, Write each one's name on their ornaments.
For your siblings: the presents sound great, and just spending this extra time with them will be an extra special pressent! : ) Good luck!

It is clear that you have put a lot of thought into this, and that's what makes the gift the best in the end. The one thing I would ask (only because I use to blow this big time with my Mom) is if your mother actually uses stationary. If she doesn't, you might want to steer clear of that. Letter writing is a somewhat lost art now. Quite often the traditional "Mom" gifts don't really fit real mothers. What's your Mom like? Does she like reading? (a gift card to a book store). Letter writing? Gourmet cooking? (Those silicone spatulas that can really take the heat, or a gadget she hasn't bought for herself or a book on spices, along with a few spices, etc. or just buying her a couple of good quality steaks - ask the butcher to choose them for you.) Eating out? Gardening? (A basket of bulbs or flower seeds, with colorful gardening gloves and a hand trowel might work.) Would a prism to hang in her window delight her - giving her a gift of rainbows? Does she collect something? (I collect antique hats - one of the few cheap antiques left.)

yeah that's really nice. It really is the thought that counts. I always get my family food presents, like chocolates, candy, and cookies. Always homemade cookies. :)
