I dont care about AMerica. Just look at countries like Sudan. Muslims are in power. There is no Israel/AMerica to blame and its full of persecution of non-muslims

Like Sudan!

Edit:
We seem are thinking alike. :-) In Sudan Muslims and Non Muslim are being persecuted by the Muslim. Horrible and sad.

You said it. Appear. Appearance is deceiving.

Peaceful. Yesterday they went out to honor Arafat. They ended up killing each others!

Edit,
nocturnal, Take it easy chill. Maybe you need to check the news and see how the Muslims are victimizing each others more than anyone else.
We all have victimize each others one way or another, and Muslims as well. Just because you don't hear about them! it doesn't mean they are not there. Wake up man. We all are in deep trouble if we are going to ignore one problem in the world and pretend it is not there.

Fair question. The answer is a simple one, and it was given by Muhammad himself.

Bukhari:V4B52N268 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘War is deceit.'"

If Muslims are a minority, they'll play nice simply out of necessity; they will deceive in order to allay the fears of their enemies. If they're not, though, well...look out.

Well, India is run by non-muslims and they are not peaceful in India. Same with Thailand, Phillipinnes. Infact wherever there is a muslim minority, there can never be peace.

well, theres a non muslim in power in the philippines and they are getting bombed regularly by muslims.

When these islamofascists don't care if they die by blowing themselves up with bombs, we got a real problem.

Muslims trying to take over the UK, America, Philippines, Canada, Belgium, France, .....

Looks more like a world domination plot without peace.

Huh?

I think you will find that this is true for all religions. When a faith based religion becomes intertwined with the government in any country, violence ensues every time.

Look at Bosnia, and think about the Christians genocide of Muslims there.

Look at Sudan and see the genocide committed by both Christian and Muslims in power. You are focusing on Muslim atrocities only, but in reality there have been atrocities committed by both sides in Sudan, the Muslims just happened to be stronger. The same can be seen in Israel where both sides commit atrocities.

The reality is that, in countries where there is a secular government, free from religion with a strong focus on education and science, genocide and violence tend to diminish in society.

Most religious people will cry COMMUNISM at this point, which at first glance is a good point, however, Communism is the same as faith based religion, in that it lies on the belief that the human spirit is evil and must be controlled. This is a false premise, and in secular countries that don't hold that belief, peace and prosperity becomes available for a majority of the population.

Well, have you read the Koran? Seriously, have you? It's packed with commands to persecute and kill infidels (people who are not Muslim). That line of thinking is not particularly peaceful, wouldn't you say? When the book that guides your life is chock-full of insistence that you seek out and destroy infidels, and laugh and make merry while they suffer and die, how can you expect a devout Muslim leader to be peaceful?

To be fair, the Old Testament is just as full of grim horrors and xenophobia as the Koran is, and the New Testament is barely any better. Most modern practitioners of Judaism and Christianity have prettied up their religions to make them compatible with the current global sense of morality. Most modern Muslims have similarly amended their beliefs to be more in line with the worldwide expectation to behave yourself and not go out seeking to destroy those who are not like you. But just as with Christianity and Judaism, Islamic fundamentalists and zealots will still adhere to the printed word and will refuse to filter it through the seive of modern ethics.

In short, we see so much anti-peace sentiment in Islamic countries because the book they use to guide their lives is mostly anti-peace. But don't get a big head - the hate that is spewed in Christian countries (often against Muslims) is just as sickening and depressing, and it is just as supported by a literal interpretation of the Christian holy text.

Killing anyone is wrong Muslims or non muslims. Those who kill non muslims in Muslim ruled countries kill Muslims at the same time as well. Do you think a suicide bomber goes out and screams that all Muslims should leave the area cause he wants to blow himself up and harm only non-muslims?? Why site Sudan as an exmaple or any other place, when the US killed thousands of innocent people in its invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Killing is wrong, no matter who is being killed and whoever is killing
