Go to the startup tab, and tick off anything you don't want starting.

To control what starts with Windows:

Click Start and then Run. (Vista – Start>All Programs>Accessories>Run). In the run box, type "msconfig" without the quotes and then hit "Enter". This will open the System Configuration Utility. Click the "Startup" tab. Now remove the check mark from any and all programs that you do not want to start or "boot" with Windows. Now click apply and then click OK.

You will need to restart your system. When the system starts you will see a box stating that you used the Config. utility, put a check in "Don't show this box at startup".

That should do it.

Do not remove any check marks from your security software. You want it to load with your operating system.

for programs you intentionally installed in the computer, you can start by sorting through those little icons on the bottom right corner of the screen. right click each of them, decide whether you use them on a regular basis, and choose to disable autostart or uncheck run on startup options for each of them. you might have to find it within preferences or options within each icon or program. This should reduce startup time and speed up the computer. Go ahead into control panel/add remove programs and uninstall programs you no longer use or need if they cannot be disabled through the above method. Even when you disable these, you can still open and use them anytime (they just wont start up automatically)

For ones that you didnt intentionally install, such as spyware, Start by running the below online scanner, it will take some time to run so be patient..

Then go ahead and install and run a spyware removal program (link is below) to make sure you dont have any bad guys on the computer... download, install, update using the update button, run a smart scan, then accept all repairs...restart.. you should be in good shape now...

Click on the start button on the bottom left on tool bar.
go to programs.
go to startup.
drag off the startup tab the programs you do not want to automatically start upon startup. Just drop them on the program tab.
this should solve the problem.

First try to open the application that start with Windows and try to uncheck the option where it says start on Windows startup....
Most of the applications have that option....but if they don't then go to the run command and type

"msconfig"

go to the startup tab and uncheck the ones that you don't want to open on startup...

I believe that should do it...

Cheers!

Set it to up date like whilst your not on the keyboard. or only turn it off - yet do not forget approximately it, cos it rather is strongly recommended which you save you workstation as much as this element.
