Excellent answers all around, but the one I find absolutely absurd to even consider, is tattooing the whites of eyeballs. Injecting dye to the whites of eyes.
No individuality is worth possibly causing blindness or possibly ruining eyesight.

I think the two worst tattoo ideas are
1) a lover's name (rather you are married or not!)
2) Curse Words
Saw some girl with the words "F*** Off" tattooed on her. The grandkids are gonna love it!!
Demonic tattoos, clown tattoos, skulls, jesters, and freaking tribal tattoos are all stupid to me, but a lot of people have them, so what can you do?

Your boyfriend or girlfriends name, barbwire around your arm (lol too trendy) ...who am I to judge though. Tattoo's are very personal. I would say don't just get a tattoo just to get one, get a tattoo with meaning...who cares if someone else doesn't like it? And def check out the tattoo artist's art work. Don't go to someone who is going to do your whole sleave for a bag of pot or $50. lmao

Sometimes it's not the tattoo, but the individual who wears them.
My ex husband got some very nice tattoos, but their placement on his body make him look like they fell there by accident and the different tattoos look stupid together.
He likes them, so more power to him. Why should I care if everyone tells me (including his friends) that he looks like an idiot who ran blindly through a tattoo parlor?

Racist ones look bad for job interview. And any tattoos on your neck, face or hands are a bad idea. I have tattoos on my wrists, and I can say that tattoos that can be seen with a t-shirt on are a bad idea in the professional world.

I believe that tattooing your spouses name is almost certainly a relationship killer, but tattoos are a very personal thing and are wonderful and to each their own on what they want to put in ink!
I would never get lovers initials or cartoon characters, personally.

I think the worst tattoo a person can get is a lovers name, cause then if they break up it is expensive and hard to get it removed.
