This is easy. Jesus is God. Jesus is a man. Being one with the triune God, how could the rest of the Godhead be anything other than male?
I once heard a children's sermon about how God is both male and female. The children were greatly disturbed. After the service my four year old daughter approached me about this. Apparently in her mind the concept of God being both male and female created an image of some kind of hermaphroditic monster. Since she did not even know about hermaphrodites at that time, she was really scared about God.
Take a lesson from the children. God is not scary or difficult. He is loving and deep. We are all to learn about His Kingdom as children. He would never scare us with the portrayal of Himself as being something that is an aberration of nature.
Yours in Christ Jesus

God is not like humans. God is a spirit person and so God is neither man nor woman. The reason why the pronoun HE is used in the bible is because god is addressed as "Father" and father is a man and also because generally when a sex is unknown the pronoun he is used. But even if he is called "the father" he is not male or female.

he is neither male nor female no one alive today nows what God looks like, but most people picture him as a man because Jesus came to earth as a man.
I hope this helps :)
also when God said he created man in his own image it means he made Adam & Eve perfect just as he is perfect it DOES NOT mean we look like God

MAle no question. Multiple references to He in the bible. plus the facethat God made Man in his own image. However God made woman as well, her soul in his image as well so both are in the image of God though God's gender is male. Eve is with Adam for female companionship because God created us for companionship.

The bible says that God created man in His image and always refers to Him in the male form so I would say that He is male. But I don't think that it makes any difference. I think He is all knowing so He is the only male that gets women!

God is asexual, there is no marriage in the Spirit realm, therefore, no gender differentiation.
Human traits are applied to God through scripture so that WE can relate to Him. yet, He is both nurturer and disciplinarian.
