I do believe that the Bible is partly correct, but only partly. While I realize that I may take a good deal of flack from the very religious conservatives out there, I think that we have to be realistic about this. The Bible was written several thousand years ago and it was written in a language that is nowadays considered arcaic. It has been translated hundreds and hundreds of times into multiple languages and versions. There is bound to be things that were in the original transcript that have been lost in all those translations. I'm not trying to be blasphemous at all, I'm just realistic enough to understand that things change over the years and the more things are translated the more meanings of certain words and phrases can be changed.
Oh, by the way, I am NOT an atheist. I was born and raised in the Baptist church and now, after marriage, consider myself to be Lutheran.

Yes, because it was translated and written by humans. Politics played a great part in the world wide printing of the Bible, and the Catholics have their version, as do the protestants, and Jehovah witnesses, and there are several discrepancies in the publications, some based on how they want to translate a verse to their specifications. Just like a computer is only as smart as the programmer, the book is only as accurate as the writer/translator. I just read in between the lines and let my own meaning surface. My life is much happier that way.

The answer is no because if part is incorrect it makes the whole thing incorrect. So if you find even one fault in the Bible the whole book is false based on it's own laws.
But forget the Bible and go to strip clubs on Sundays. Live La Vida Loca. Si mami! >8P

in case you do no longer reject Christ than why do you reject His e book. The Christ interior the bible says that no longer something is to be further or taken from it. The bible isn't quite plenty love and compassion, it is likewise approximately punishment and retribution. i do no longer believe that somebody who disputes the bible is inevitably dammed to hell. yet once you incredibly get to renowned the Christ of the bible you will have no problem accepting it. The bible isn't in elementary terms yet another e book, despite the fact that it is going to no longer be worshiped, you're precise it is idolatry. we ought to worship the God of the bible in elementary terms! have you ever examine the bible? If no longer, achieve this, and ask the Christ of the bible that might actually assist you already know why this is a particular e book.

As you know, the Bible is a written "record" of stories and events which were originally passed by word of mouth - obviously there will be some inaccuracies, exacerbated by the fact that there have been so many translations.

The bible says every dot and tittle, meaning even the smallest of punctuation mark is accurate. So, as a Christian I believe every part of the bible is accurate but that isn't to say all of the present day interpretations are accurate.

If there is any errors, it is because the people translating the original text, messed it up. I am confident that the KJV bible has no errors, because it matches the original hebrew text that was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

If you are asking if the Bible portrays the unchanged words of God then I would have to agree with you. I believe that man has altered it's original form.
