Walk with God, repent of past sins, and read the Bible and pray everyday, it doesn't have to be for an hour or at a certain time just do it everyday you can.

If you really want to start, start by reading the chapter Proverbs that corresponds with the day of the month. Also find a good reputable Church, tithe, and be as friendly as much as you can.

First ask why are you unhappy?
You may note down the points why you are unhappy. In the end you will find that you are unhappy because people, your spouse, your parents, your in-laws, your friends etc dont work out as per your expectations. To attain happiness learn to appreciate others and to help others and to have empathy. When people start loving you, you will feel happy !
