My faith is stronger now than it's ever been, as I look back @ circumstances in my life & how God has been with me @ every step & answered my prayers. There are areas/issues where I've crossed over from faith into knowledge because of the tests/trials I've been through where God has proved His faithfulness.

I am 19 years old and I believe my faith is the strongest now, since I was 18. I've been through a lot in my life, but I know that struggling is a part of life, but I didn't believe in myself for the most part. I needed to find self happiness and I believe Faith has done that for me.
Also, with your second question I believe that for the most part that is true, because a lot of older people turn to religion and faith, but also I think its not only age but your maturity level and your beliefs.

My faith grows each day. Not in leaps and bounds, but just as a vine will grow just a little bit more each day. Generally I only notice the true changes, when I am "looking back' on something or an event and can see how I reacted to what ever. It is at those times I can see the growth in my faith, and Walk with God.

My mother-in-law tells me that the older we get, the closer we get to God because ... we're getting closer to God, in the sense that our days are numbered and those numbers are getting higher.
I'm never one to argue with my mother-in-law. And I think there's a grain of truth in there that nobody really likes to admit. Younger people see themselves almost as immortal and bulletproof, but the older we get the more we realize this isn't true. Our friends die relatively young, and we look in the mirror. Our 30th high school reunions loom and it hits us that we used to think 30 was old. Our kids grow. Our grandkids are born. Our parents die. And here we are at the head of the line "all of a sudden".
People can have strong, abiding faith at any age, but it's usually those who are nearing the ends of their lives (whether as a child, a young adult, or senior citizen) whose faith seems strongest. My faith has grown with me. May it continue to do so, to the last breath I take. I told someone else once that the last name I want to speak aloud in this life is my Savior's, as my final witness.

The age that I am currently. Almost mid-century ;-). Yes, wisdom does come with age, reinforcing my faith.

My faith was strongest as a child...
As an adult mine is strongest now. I was actually one of the people who "didn't need God, even if He did exist." Thankfully, I had a spiritual awakening and my eyes were opened to Him.
