Even tho' I was in the Air Force and know where Offutt is (been there) that hardly means that I know where every AFB on the planet is located.
Why would someone in the Army know??? I would be doubtful if they even know where every Army post is. (or care for that matter)

There is a Germany AirForce base in Offutt. UN special teams use it as a staging area.

Because there's a whole lot of Air Force bases out there. I doubt very many people know where they all are. Besides, Rangers have more important stuff to worry about, like staying alive.
