These are the same people that believe their god came to earth in human form to sacrifice himself to himself to appease himself.

They say this for 2 reasons; 1. They were lied to and believe that life without God is meaningless and the pursuit of imoral pleasures. 2. They are lying purposefully to build up their baseless faith.
Either way a lie is involved. I actually do think that many of 'God's" rules are important for society. I don't however believe in all of them, because they are bad for mankind.
Christians should read Numbers 5 and consider what the results of that law would be on modern society. God's laws weren't all good, the bible makes that pretty clear.
I am an Atheist because there just isn't any evidence for the existence of God, and all 'evidence' stated by believers has been used by other believers throughout human history to justify myth. I would have a much easier time believing in God, if his believers could point to something that couldn't be used to prove the existence of Leprechauns or Neptune, or used tactics that weren't used by late night paid advertising commercials.
Edit...
Ace of Spades is a perfect example of Christians using lies to bolster their belief system. He claims we want Genocide for all Christians. My parents and all my extended family are Christians, the last thing I want is any Genocide. His belief system however, makes things like Genocide in Bosnia and the Sudan a reality.
Why use lies to prop up a 'moral' religion?

Most rules are actually good, although the Christians seem to believe only God can come up with common sense. It is, like you say, nonsense.

No the main reason for me is because of lack of credible evidence that any gods exist at all.
However if that christian god did exist i would object to living under it's rules because it would be a controlling monster.

If God him/her/itself would do us all a big favor and appear IN PERSON to lay down the rules for life, that would be far superior to leading life according to the human-manipulated words within the Bible.
I think such people don't want us to live by God's rules, but rather by THEIR rules.

This is nonsene because not even ''christians'' themselves know what GOD's really are and if they do at least 50% of them breaks it every single second of the day in some way or another. The bible were written by mortal men(which makes at least 50% of it fake).I donot worry because I am ecclectic and live by my owns rules(just have fun and be a good law abiding person)

Christians say a lot of very silly things. They are in denial when it comes to atheists. They do not seem to have the intellectual capacity to understand that many people do not share their delusion.

Atheist, to my knowledge, means no believing there is/are God(s). Why do Christians feel this is exclusive to their God. Religion is a choice as is belief. I only dislike people claiming to be of a religion however are hypocritical and do not follow principles of that religion. I care not for atheists more than I would expect them to care for me. Treat people how you wish to be treated. I try to live by that.

Atheists are atheists because they choose to believe there is no God.
You can't be born an atheist Soulful Kris... if you think that you don't understand that to be an atheist requires a decison.

I will accept the rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

They don't live by God's rules either....we just don't see the point in guilt-tripping ourselves for thinking some guy/girl is hot.
