Have you thought about wearing your hair down (or getting clip on extensions?)? My friend who is the same way about her arms did that and it was very successful for her!
Also remember that you are truly your greatest critic & you will make a beautiful bride! Have fun & Congrats!

David's Bridal (www.davidsbridal.com) has cover for tattoo's. Also, I'm a big girl and had an off the shoulder dress, also. It came with a stole which I turned around backwards, knotted it and wore it that way.
Something else I thought of but just didn't have time to do, you could get material in a contrasting color or print, hem the ends and if long enough, have it as a train. That would be really pretty. You could use a soft print or include your colors and make it something really unique and pretty.
Mine ended at my lower back and was knotted to look like a flower. I'm sure you will find something that really works and looks wonderful on you.

Just about any high end store sell make up that will cover a tatoo. I had the same problem when I got married. I had to cover 2 tat's'
It is rather pricey and from experience do NOT get the cover up on the dress as it won't come out without professional cleaning.
Good luck with the cover up and your upcoming marriage!

Your choice of gown is lovely. Understated elegance! Your maid's gowns could be similar to yours--if you had them shortened and added a cap sleeved jacket--a local seamstress could do that--and perhaps use the fabric from shortening the dresses--then the top would match the dresses--or you could have the jacket made one shade darker for contrast. OR, stay with all long gowns to match, which will look lovely, and have the maids wearing the jackets (there are some lace fabrics out there that are very pretty, also) Yes, David's Bridal has a gown in your choice of color for the maids and I think you should go with what you know. I hope this has been helpful.

Davids Bridal sells a makeup kit for covering a tattoo. I have not tried it and would recommend you try it in advance.
Just be aware that the makeup can smear (I've had it happen with other makeup, which is why I'm not recommending it) and you really need to be sure you don't get it all over your dress and/or wrap.

If you go to the mall at Parisian (Belk), Macy's or somewhere like that I know that they have some body makeup. I want to say it is made by Estee Lauder and I am sure now that any of the other major makeup lines have something like it as well. They will probably give you a demonstration to show you how well it covers up and also match it to your skin tone.

why not get a veil that is made out of a more opaque material such as organza or chiffon and have it come down to at least the elbow so it will cover your shoulders it will still look bridey and pretty and not so out of place as a stole. Beware that the tattoo makeup may reflect light differently and show up n a photograph.

Go to Ulta.com, or if you have a Macy's in your town, and get Dermablend with the setting powder or try on different colors. Also they have a site. dermablend.com. The site gives instructions/and you can order online. Make sure you buy the setting powder. Pick the right color for your skin. It is an excellent product. My friend has a condition on her skin where the skin turns white in spots on her hands and face and she bought this product and you cannot see the problem on her face anymore. Good Luck

The Rocky Mountain Emporium makes the highest quality shawls and pashminas around! You could call them and see if they have plus size:
http://www.rockymountainemporium.com/
You could look for something like this, depending on if it would go with your wedding dress:

David's Bridal offers a bolero jacket, shrug or pashmina shawl and I know that they offer many accessory items in plus sizes.:

Here are a few other places you may want to check:

Here is a decent, really inexpensive one:
