You should stay off your foot COMPLETELY.

Since you have already did something, and are in pain I would call the doctor as soon as possible. Your doctor will more then likely want to see you & take x-rays of the ankle to MAKE SURE that nothing is wrong, or you can suggest it to him/her.

Hope nothing is seriously wrong!
Get well soon!

you should contact your surgeon, you could have accidentally reinjured your ankle because it happened to my sister, she broke her big toe and got surgery 'cause it was really messed up. She was suppose to stay off of it for about 3 or 4 weeks, but shortly after she feel, and just like you all her weight shifted to the other side but pain was going through her broken toe. when she went back to the surgeon she was told that some how she had broken her toe even more and the vabriation of the fall brought on the pain. so maybe you messed it up more or the fall could have broght on the pain, but the only way you will know is if you go visit your surgeon.

Call your surgeon. It's unlikely you redamaged the area where the surgery was performed but it does happen...depending on many things (like how strong your bones are)
Good luck.

Call the Doctor and let them know so they can see if something happened. Don't let it go, in case something came undone, and will heal wrong.
