I am removing the wall paper in the bathroom. There are 2 layers of wall paper.I have used the vineger and hot water method and also the DIF wallpaper stripper.I scored the paper first. Both products work equally well.My problem is only one layer is coming off at a time. Is there any way I can get both layers to come off at the same time?I don't want to get a steamer. It is a small bathroom.I just wanted to speed up the process. Thanks !!!!!

It's one layer at a time, it might help if you add a little kitchen soap to your water...this loosens it faster.

Is it wallpaper with strong glue? If it's more of a tape-like adhesive, go buy some fabric softener. Mix one part softener with one part water and saturate the paper from the outside. Let it soak in for a few minutes and scrape it off. Sounds weird, but I used the method to remove stick-on borders with ease.

Wallpaper removal is hard work and time consuming. The best tool I have found to use is a latex outdoor grill cleaner to take off the adhesive layer. Hope this helps!
