Humans are obviously curious by nature; if you try to show something to them, then they will naturally take a passing look to see what it is that you want us to see, and whether it is worth seeing in the first place. When a girl wears a Vee cut top that splits down to almost her belly button, does she really expect people to stare into her eyes?
Certainly she must realize that everyone is thinking “bimbo” whenever she acts offended that she got the result that the clothing designer was apparently aiming for.
Don’t give me any nonsense about how a “gentleman” wouldn’t look. If that is true, then a “lady” wouldn’t show. It is silly to say that women dress sexy just for themselves; obviously other people see you, and you apparently realize that other people are reacting in some way to what you have on, because you are self-conscious about it. Don’t waste time blaming the victims of your exhibitionism unless you are too retarded to understand cause and effect.

In other words, no PC answers, I want honesty.
And yes, I, and others, have asked a similar question already. I was trying to get some different people to respond, to get more thoughts.
Just curious as to what she might be thinking.

"EngSupCo " seems to have a point about some people being superficial. It might explain some of it.

"slinkybecks21" is right in that it is "no big deal". However, the feminists treat it as a big deal by claiming that men are “raping” them with our eyes. Then they hypocritically turn around and defend a woman’s right to be naked in public, and expect no one to react.

Remember, it's not polite to stare, no matter what. You're not supposed to call attention to other people being different no matter if the difference is in the way the dress or the wheelchair they're sitting in.
However, you mentioned "passing glances." I'm never offended by these and I sometimes wear the low cut blouses to which you refer. I'm kind of flat chested so I am even flattered to have men look in that direction for a change. Yes, this might be the intended effect of the clothing. Most women aren't annoyed at the first 7 people who do it...it's the 20th person who won't give her eye contact when she tries to talk to them that it becomes tiresome. When I roll my eyes it's at myself for thinking I could dress this way and expect to be taken seriously.
I'm not saying women shouldn't wear these clothes, but they are best suited for short periods of time. If you wear them all day long, the looks will get annoying before 2 pm.

I wear low cut tops and I do not get offended if people take a peek. I have large fantastic real boobies. Of course I'm gonna show some cleavage. Any girl who wears a low cut top but gets offended when people look is a idiot.

The old saying goes, if you dress a certain way, you will get the attention that is coming to you.
Women can be sexy, but when you cross a certain line, it becomes un sexy and trashy.
Dress for success, dress for clubs, dress for work, etc.
Yes men always look at you when your all out there. Heck my husband and I have been married for over 6 years and he still notices when womenn wear clothes that are revealing.
If you go to a nudist camp, don't most women want to look down? Same thing with guys they want to look at your top.
Most women that dress with too much revealing parts don't have much confidence in themselves. There is a time and place for everything.

I don't know as I just recently got the kind of breasts that make a low cut top look AWESOME (the joys of pregnancy). I dress to play up my assets and according to the occasion so it makes no sense to me women who dress provocatively being upset because guys oogle them.
Staring is fine, doing a double take makes me happy, saying how cute or fine or whatever I am is nice, but when you start to cross the line by touching, groping, or saying derogatory things then I get weirded out and offended. I
Fact women like to be admired for their physical assets. Entire industries are built on this fact.

Well, if you switch the role. Say that you are a big buff guy with a tight shirt on, and a big fat ugly woman walks by and looks at you, your maybe gonna look at her like what the fu#k is your problem? If a hot chick walks by and gives you a look, your probably gonna appreciate it a bit more. So, not saying that your ugly, girls probably have a similar outlook on the situation. If a fat, bald guy looks at her while shes wearing tramp clothes, shes gonna think he's a rapist or something, but if the buff guy with the tight shirt walks by, their gonna get what each of them were looking for. That's my guess.

Some women are B*****S and they are just faking offense. They really do want men to look or else they wouldn't wear a cleavage top. As a women I only wear a low cut top when I want the attention. I like it. When I don't want to be looked at I cover them up. I don't know why women are offended (or are pretending to be offended) by this. They should take it as a complement. One day their boobs will be all saggy and no one will want to look anymore.

Unfortunately, the modern media has a lot of women messed up nowadays. They send us all kinds of mixed messages that we should be respectable and also sexy. The women really don't expect you to look, and you shouldn't.

They want the attention of men to get what they can get from them. Primarily I believe it is financial. Other obvious reasons would be for sex, attention, or so that they can play the MARTYR that some women enjoy so much.

No idea, it doesn't bother me, if it did then I wouldn't wear revealing tops!
You seem very angry and bitter about this though, it really isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

If she didn't want to be noticed or 'looked at', she should not have worn clothes that advertised her assets. Otherwise, it's open to the public for scrutiny or eye candy!
